About the artist
Dune is an American craftsman working across furniture, hand-forged blades, and original artwork. His work is guided by traditional methods and close attention to material, with each piece shaped deliberately and built to endure.
Rooted in history yet distinctly contemporary, the practice reflects an ongoing American Renaissance—a return to skill, discipline, and lasting beauty. Emphasis is placed on longevity, repairability, and thoughtful construction rather than trend or excess.
All work is produced in small batches or as singular, one-of-one pieces, intended to be lived with, maintained, and passed down over time.
wood
I began working with wood at seventeen, drawn to traditional joinery and enduring forms. Early attention to structure, proportion, and material behavior continues to guide the work today.
My furniture and architectural pieces are built by hand and placed in homes across the country.
Blades
I began forging blades at twelve, learning early the discipline of heat, steel, and consequence. Over time, repetition refined both hand and judgment.
Today, more than two thousand blades have been made and placed with clients worldwide. Many remain a one-of-one work, forged and finished by hand.
Art
Drawing was my first pursuit. At seven, I received early recognition for my work—an early signal of a lifelong inclination toward observation and form.
That foundation now runs through every discipline I practice. Art remains present in each project and has evolved into a sustained commitment to painting and drawing as independent works.
